  1. By turning our backs on climate science,we risk losing our ability to halt the serious impact we are having on future generations and ecosystems.
Societies response to its environmental problems in previous lost civilisations always proved significant. The institutions and cultural values affect whether the society solves (or even attempt to solve) its problems.
There are few fortunes to made in research. The motivating factors are mainly to discover truths and leave a legacy for others to benefit in the future. I would rather lean towards science and history.

    • Thanks Bruce for your great comment. I suggest that the research vitally needed to assess and mitigate Climate Change requires a National Government’s on-going commitment, to ensure survival and a fair go. Businesses and fortunes still need to be addressed and encouraged, but not to the detriment of public purpose.
